CLAST Catalog Shooting
27.01.2012
A couple of weeks ago we had the CLAST catalog shooting on the Julier Pass in Switzerland. Snow conditions weren't that good back then, but we had anyway fun hanging around together and posing for our photodawg Creager.
Meeting point 7:30 am on the top of the pass!
Getting ready for the long hike...hot water, coffee, instan soups, tee, bananas, chocolate and the new neckwarmers and beanies!
Creager getting X-treme! He just had a knee surgery, so he built his own snow-crutches
Creager getting up the mountain with the help of Mu and Mä! His snow-crutches didn't work that well!
Chill area in the shadow! Markus, Hitsch and Mu checking out the new products.
Nico checking out a new spot, while Creager is repairing his crutches ;-)
The Boss filming everything and checking out that everything works good!
Colin Frei joined us in the afternoon after a hard day filming with Isen7
Creager enjoying the shooting with his big Cam!
Anita and Mara came to the shooting as well! They were freezing their ass off in the shadow.
Nico and Mu spotted something on the other side of the Valley and...they left!
Nothing really crazy happed that day but it was cool to check out the new products and hang out together in the shadow (thank you Creager).

CLASTcast - Kingscup
03.12.2011
The snow still didn't arrive in Europe, but we can definitely tell you... it is on its way to the old continent. So while waiting for it we played a couple of times Kingscup!
Did you already play Kingscup? No?!
It's a really cool drinking game! Check out this video and the rules below!
We find this game so cool that we even made a Kingscup Bandana.
The Game:
Step 1: Remove a card and place it on the glass on the center
Step 2: once placed on the glass, two corners of the card have to be in the air (if the card falls down, empty your glass)
Step 3: fulfill the function of the card
The Rules:
1- NO pointing at other participants
2- NO Names
3- NO F*@k words
These rules have to be followed during the entire game. Honesty is the gamers highest order. Drink one shot each time you brake the rules.
Cards:
2 - choose: Choose anyone in the round that has to take a sip of his/her drink.
3 - bgerk: Everybody puts the „finger-glasses“ on and the one who took the card will start. Extend your left or right arm to direct it in this direction, or take both arms to skip someone. First one who fails, has to take a sip.
4 - questions: You are the question-master until someone draws another „4“. Whoever answers you a question during that time, has to drink.
5 - topics: Choose a topic (capitals, beers, sexpositions,...) and start the round with naming your first item. Can’t continue? DRINK!
6 - left: The participant to your left has to drink.
7 - right: The person to your right has to drink.
8 - community drink: Everybody has to take a sip of his drink. Cheers!
9 - bust a rhyme: You drew the card, you start the rhyme. You fuck it up, you DRINK!
10 - rule: Add any new rule to the game.
Jack – famous people: Drop a famous person’s full name. The next called first name has to begin with the same letter as the last surname started with.
Queen – waterfall: First, everybody has to refill his/her drink. All players start drinking sip after sip at the same time. The participant with the „Queen“ can stop first whenever he wants, after him the person to his right and so on... until the last player in the round is released from sipping.
King – kings cup: Fill 1/3 of the kings cup with your drink. The person drawing the 4th king has to drink the kings cup!
Ace – toilet: That’s a keeper! No player is allowed to go to the toilet during the entire game, unless you got an „Ace“! You want to use it? Put your card on the glass and run! For the unfortunates that can’t hold it: offer the Ace-owner a trade, try to deal, get creative...
I-Pod and his babies!
16.10.2011
Iouri "I-Pod" Podlatchikov went to NZ after the Freestyle.ch with something in mind...
...and he came back with the first documented switch double McTwist 1260!
Good job boy!
We are also really proud to present you the Team Neckwarmer and the Team Facemask featuring Iouri's face on it.
The Team Neckwarmer is the ideal item for those cold days; the fleece layer on the inside guarantees you a superiror comfort and the outside layer is weather proof and wind repellant. On the back side you also have the Linkline to connect our Classic Beanie to it.
The Team Facemask has just a different cut for those spring sunny days fooling around in the park.

Hey Hitsch, how are you doing?
hello...I'm doing good. Just had an awesome weekend in Munich for the Isen7 Premiere.
Oh nice! How was it? Are you hyped on your part?
It was all time, so many people came and we just had a great night out. About my part, I don't have that many shots but I'm stocked to be in a movie besides my contest schedule.
What would you change about if you had the power to go back and do things differently?
That's hard to say, I'd like to invest more time into filming but the contest season is pretty long. I didn't have the best luck while filming this year, for example we went on a park trip to Tahoe and I got 2 shots in 2 weeks that ended up in the movie. The weather conditions are a hard thing to deal with but that's only one of many challenges filming a video part. And I probably shouldn't have done a cab 7 on a slush backcountry kicker in Norway cause I got a bit hurt on that one. In the end I gave my best and that's what counts.
I believe you! so what's your plan now?
Next weekend I will be competing at the Freetyle.ch, a city event in Zurich. It's a pretty big thing if you are from Switzerland so I'm really looking forward to it. Otherwise I'll enjoy some riding just for myself without any filmers or judges in Hintertux and Saas Fee and hopefully some holidays as well.
Holiday...where do you want to go? Do you want to become a pro surfer like Mu (Stephan Maurer)?
Haha indeed Mu is really on it! No, I rather stick to snowboarding for now. But sure I want to go surfing maybe France or Morocco but I haven't booked anything yet.
I heard Morocco is pretty good in October. Let's change topic...what does it mean Clast to you?
First word that pops in my mind is family! I mean the guys behind the brand are true friends of mine and taught me a lot of things when I was a kid and still do now. Later they started the company and I am proud to support it since day one. Clast is really fun, loose and it's great to see it growing day by day!
What's your favorite product?
That's easy, I always wear the Fleece Hood! It's the best thing and it even fits over my helmet. Sometimes I go for a Neckwarmer when it's really hot on the Mountain but the Fleece Hood is by far my favorite product.
Yeah the hood is also one of my favorite...so thank you for your time and see you at the Freestyle.ch! I hope you will have some time for a quick beerpong game at the Clast booth...
Thank you! For sure I'll stop by for a cold one :) (beer)
Sweet then, good luck for the comp and see you there!
